Biding Time in the Gold Flocked Basement Twixt Death and Funeral. I worked on this digital quilt while visiting my dad in the hospital before he died. I also worked on it in the horrible basement, the basement that hardly changed since my parents bought the house in 1973, because the Colorado heat upstairs was insufferable. I worked on it the day of his funeral too. This is my inheritance, my anger, my retreat into art, my channeling bad memories into beauty. Created in Photoshop.
